Quinn Schoen is a curator, collection advisor, and PhD candidate in Art History at The Graduate Center, CUNY. He received his BA in the History of Art and Architecture from Brown University, and is currently the Researcher and Archivist at the Mel Bochner Studio.
He previously worked in curatorial departments at Dia Art Foundation, Blank Forms, and MoMA; founded and directed Gym; and has organized exhibitions and programs at Westbeth Artists Housing, Camera Club, Blank Forms, and Shoot the Lobster.
He has published texts in Getty Research Journal, Nka: Journal of Contemporary African Art, Brooklyn Rail, Performa Magazine, OOF, and CAA.com.
Writings on and reviews of his curatorial work have been featured in Art Observed, Elle Decor, Brooklyn Rail, New York Magazine, Purple, and W Magazine.
